Hi, We are integrating the ActiveX component into an old MFC application that was previously using the ATL SMTP component. It appears that we will be able to integrate this component (FastSender) fairly easily. One of the methods we have to replace is a connection test method. This method verifies the SMTP connection. Is there any recommendation on how we should implement a connection test method. Since this is an old application, the SMTP connection is tightly integrated throughout this very large application. The tricky part is that I am only given the following parameters for input. Host = includes address and port (ex. Mysmtphost.blah.com:2525) Username Password From those three, I have to determine SSL/TLS or not. Any suggestions? Thanks, Tom
