Multipart/Alternative instead of Multipart/related?

Hi there,

Is it possible to send a multipart email as alternative rather than related?

Sure, if you only specify the TextBody and HtmlBody property, then the body format is multiple/alternative.
If you specify both TextBody and HtmlBody and you also add embedded images in the email, then the body format is like this:


mutiple/related
    multiple/alternative
      text/plain
      text/htm
    embedded image attachment.

Thanks Ivan,

That explains it :)
Didn't know that the embedded images caused that change in headers.

Is there any risk with using the AutoBodyText property instead of providing an alternative text body.
How are the links translated?

Hi, AutoTextBody just simply removes all HTML tag and links in HTML and put it to TextBody
So your links in HTML body will be removed.
