I have a simple VB6 program that uses the EASendMailObj ActiveX dll to send emails from a database. This program is currently running just fine on a Windows 2008r2 server. I installed the VB6 program and EASendMailObj on the Windows 2012, but now I get an error:
Error with connecting server;current server: 199.XXX.XXX.XXX;connect failed, error: 0x0000271d

Any help would be appreciated.

This problem was resolved.

Because there is virus protection software which blocked outbound 25, 587 port.
